The new Tourflex Cabling brand was launched by AC-ET at PLASA recently
UK - AC-ET's latest brand, Tourflex Cabling, launched at the recent PLASA Show at London Olympia with a dedicated area, display stands and literature. Tourflex Cabling builds on the estab-lished success of Tourmate connectors and Tourflex Datasafe.

"Some of our customers don't even know about the service we offer; but last year we made over 100,000 bespoke assemblies, using half a million metres of cable, for the professional entertainment industry," said Jonathan Walters, UK sales and purchasing director for distributor A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd (AC-ET). "This included power, signal and multicore for lighting, video and audio. If we get an emergency call we often turn orders around in 24 hours, so the show can go on."

"We've got a great manufacturing facility in High Wycombe, skilled technicians, and we are keen to promote and grow this part of our business - we thought it was time for a new look and approach and so launched Tourflex® Cabling at PLASA."

AC-ET has been custom making cable assemblies for the last 40 years. Whilst cables are often seen as unexciting, they're a vital part of every event. Colour coding, RFID and barcode identification greatly simplify and speed up installations and trouble-shooting. Using high quality, industry stand-ard branded components like Tourmate, Tourmate Multilock Plus, Tourmate Powersafe, Tourflex Datasafe Ultra, Neutrik and Socapex, together with rigorous testing before dispatch greatly increases reliability. Holding good levels of stock gives fast order turnarounds.

The business is investing in further manufacturing capacity at its site in High Wycombe to meet de-mand, as well as featuring more state of the art testing facilities, and also plans to add further con-nector and cable types to its range.
