Over 175 brands showcasing their new technical solutions for the live entertainment industry at Leeds
UK - Opening in three weeks, PLASA Focus Leeds 2016 will welcome the latest products recently launched in live entertainment technology from 10 - 11 May. Robe, Avolites, Triple E and Pioneer Pro Audio will join over 175 brands showcasing their new technical solutions for the live entertainment industry.

After recently launching a variety of new and innovative lighting products, Platinum Sponsor Robe, returns to Leeds with its new Spikie, a super-fast LED WashBeam, on stand N-B30. The fixture produces sharp, multi-coloured spikes of light, rotating in both directions at variable speed, while a unique beam effect engine transforms the output into three piercing narrow beams. It has continuous pan and tilt rotation and weighs only 5.5 Kgs.

State-of-the-art professional audio solutions will also be on offer, including the recently launched XPRS Series from Pioneer Pro Audio on stand R-A18. The XPRS Series of high-powered active speakers combines the company's heritage with the reliable, energy efficient power of Powersoft amps, giving users a versatile plug-and-play system that fills the room with a natural sound.

FBT UK will also debut several brand new product ranges for the first time in the UK on stand N-B08. New products include the Vertus CS1000, FBT's Ventis range, the ProMaxX range, the Vertus CLA 406A portable active line array and the CLA 118SA sub woofer column line array. FBT will also have a demo room where the company will be featuring product demonstrations of FBT's ARCHON and VERVE install products.

As well as celebrating its 40th anniversary, Avolites will be showcasing the latest generation of the world leading ART 2000 touring range on stand N-D01. The ART 2020 features networking protocols, RDM, earth leakage monitoring and user configurable breakers. The product also offers a new controller with web monitoring, Artnet/sACN capabilities, articulated screen for easier system overview, and incorrect connection protection. Avolites will also highlight the new Titan v10, Ai v9 and R Series servers offering even more brand new features for visitors to demo.

Avolites' sales director, Koy Neminathan says, "Avolites' product development has always focused on, listened to and built on end-user feedback, so to launch the latest addition to the ART 2000 range; the ART 2020, after so many years of development is really exciting. The PLASA shows in London, Leeds and Glasgow are key events in our business calendar, so we are looking forward to celebrating our 40th year and showcasing the new ART 2020 at PLASA Leeds."

Fresh from a recent launch of ModTruss in Europe, Triple E is showcasing its 'universal building system', ModTruss, at PLASA Focus Leeds on stand R-B14. Best described as "full size Meccano", the ModTruss system features a lightweight aluminium construction and a repeating hole pattern, meaning applications are practically unlimited. Recently, ModTruss provided a strong and versatile solution to fly a powerfully bright 18kW Arrimax HMI head in an arc over the stage for the world premiere of Morgen und Abend at London's Royal Opera House.

Chris Toulmin, director of PLASA Events Division adds, "The 2016 edition of PLASA Focus Leeds is expected to be a fantastic event. We are not only welcoming record numbers of brands to showcase their latest products but also have attracted increased visitor registrations compared with previous shows."
