There will be an opportunity to see d&b NoizCalc
UK - PLASA Focus Leeds has become something of an annual highlight for team GB at d&b audiotechnik - a chance to welcome new faces, catch up with the local pro audio community, and regionally introduce all the latest international product launches.

From 10-11 May at the Royal Armouries Museum stand no. N-A24 will make things simple, with mobile products on one side and installation solutions on the other. In the mobile corner, the award winning V-Series point sources will make their Leeds debut, plus both the line array optimization tool, d&b ArrayProcessing, and the R1 Remote control software will be available to demo. And for anyone who's not yet heard about d&b NoizCalc - the far field noise immission modelling software - there'll be opportunity to see it in action, virtually of course.

Premiering on the installation side will be the two four channel installation specific amplifiers 30D and 10D, each offering targeted power outputs and features for permanent applications. And if that wasn't enough, the Dante enabled d&b DS10 Audio network bridge now puts d&b even further up the signal chain, straight from the console, with all the signal processing carried out in the d&b amplifiers.

Meanwhile returning visitors can rest assured that Steve Jones and Oran Burns of d&b Education and Application Support will contribute wit and wisdom once again to the PLASA seminar programme.

On Tuesday 10 May at 12:00 in The Bury Theatre, Oran will discuss The next level of Democracy for listeners by examining how recent advancements in line array technology are making unparalleled tonal balance and even coverage across audience areas truly achievable.

In the same room on Wednesday at 12:00, Steve will reveal Why size matters by explaining how the size of a loudspeaker affects its whole performance.

"Since last year's show there have been some really exciting developments at d&b, to both the Mobile and Installation ranges," said Gianni Abruzzese, commercial manager at d&b GB. Recent additions to the software toolkit, as well as electronics and loudspeakers have been creating plenty of excitement - across the market, so this year there'll really be something new for everyone at Leeds.
