The JBL Eon One Pro is a rechargeable portable personal linear-array PA system
UK - Sound Technology, distributor of Harman Professional Solutions audio products in the UK and Ireland, is showcasing new products from Harman’s JBL Professional, Crown and Soundcraft, plus Harman’s Connected PA system, on stand N-A11 at PLASA Focus in Leeds on 9-10 May.
Announced at Pro Light + Sound in Frankfurt in last month, the JBL Eon One Pro is a rechargeable portable personal linear-array PA system which combines the sound quality of a professional system with the convenience and portability of a self-contained, battery-powered solution. Featuring Bluetooth audio, an eight-channel mixer and a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts six hours, Eon One Pro is designed for gigging musicians and DJs, educators, fitness studios, corporate environments and more.
Harman’s Connected PA concept garnered much interested when it was announced at the NAMM Show in January, and PLASA Focus will be the first opportunity for UK customers to see the system in action. Connected PA is a complete integrated system of live sound products that allows musicians and performers at any skill level to easily get professional results.
The recently-released Soundcraft Ui24 forms the heart of the Connected PA ecosystem, together with JBL PRX800 loudspeakers, microphones & mic adaptors from AKG and dbx’s Di1 direct box. The Connected PA App - a preview version of which is available to download from the Apple App Store now - brings the system together.
Soundcraft has recently released v6.3 software for the Vi Series which adds Harman’s vMix automated microphone mixing, and the ability to control input channel processing from the master Vistonics screen. Visitors to the show will be able to try v6.3 on the Vi2000 console.
Soundcraft has also announced a firmware update which doubles the processing capability of the Si Impact console from 40 to 80 channels. The update is being released alongside two new Mini Stageboxes, the 32i and 16i, which provide 32 and 16 remote Studer mic preamps respectively.
Crown’s CDi DriveCore installation amplifiers use Harman’s innovative, multi-patented DriveCore technology to offer a balance of robust functionality and reasonable cost. The amplifiers offer the power and capabilities of Crown’s popular DriveCore Install (DCi) Series amplifiers with a streamlined set of options targeted to deliver optimal value to small and medium-sized installations. The multichannel amplifiers include DSP, low and high impedance outputs and the option of BLU link digital inputs, providing simplified wiring when used with BSS Soundweb and other BLU link-enabled devices.
All the above will be on Sound Technology’s stand (N-A11) at PLASA Focus Leeds, with representatives from the Application, Product and Sales teams on hand to demonstrate them to visitors.
