The programme is aimed at everyone involved in organising productions and events
Germany - One of the issues of great concern in the events industry is that of safety during productions. From 20 to 22 June 2017, taking place in Hall 23, the Safety in Action stage programme will take a broad look at principal hazards and preventative measures and have information and practical tips on how to successfully and safely organise and hold productions and events.

The programme is aimed at everyone involved in organising productions and events. Over a period of three days the audience will witness everyday situations augmented by practical, in-depth, educational and fascinating lectures.

On the afternoon of 21 June 2017 the professional association representing administrations (Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft - VBG) will hold a workshop on dance rehabilitation specifically aimed at dance instructors. The organisation tamed, Tanzmedizin Deutschland e. V. will also host an event on the subject. The Fire Prevention Dialogue on 20 June 2017, an international debate with experts about SIL 3 on 21 June 2017, as well as a lecture on emergency situations on 22 June 2017, to name only a few highlights, will round off the programme of events.

In 2017 xEMP and various universities, technical colleges and institutions will again be partners on the Safety in Action stage. For the first time, simultaneous interpreting into German and English will be provided.

Exhibitors highlighting the key topic of visitor safety will be located next to the Safety in Action stage near the Visitor Safety meeting point. This meeting point will provide trade visitors and exhibitors with an ideal opportunity to meet and exchange views, for example on topics presented on the Safety in Action stage.

Call for papers: Exhibitors highlighting the topic of safety have until 15 February 2017 to apply to hold a paper. Submissions must be emailed to safety@stage-set-scenery.de stating 'Call for Papers - Safety in Action stage' in the reference line.
