Penn Elcom’s wall bracket Sky Q Mini Box WB
UK - Penn Elcom has launched a new range of wall mounting brackets … designed to house popular audio and video streaming devices in stylish, understated and practical enclosures.
The initial three products that have been manufactured by Penn Elcom in the UK are for Sonos Connect devices, Sonos Connect Amps and Sky Q Mini boxes, keeping pace with innovations at the forefront of facilitating trends in commercial and domestic entertainment consumption.
These are the first of a whole range of stylish and straightforward-to-fit products designed to look elegant and provide a neat solution for the distribution of streamed live entertainment around any building or space.
Currently the range covers two Sonos products, the standard Connect box and the Connect Amp which turn existing audio systems into wireless set ups; and the Sky Q Mini Box which allows Sky TV and video users to stream sources to additional devices.
The bracket design follows the profile of the devices which fit snugly inside for a cool, low-impact, minimalist appearance when attached to the wall.
As with all Penn products, the brackets are made from sturdy 1.2mm steel for durability, and are currently available in solar black and gloss white to suit the surroundings and the colour of the device. Custom colours are available on request.
For full flexibility, the brackets can either be fixed to the wall with screws for permanence or secured in place with industrial strength Velcro technology for a hole-free solution. Both methods are quick and easy.
For venues where wired TV screens are already attached to a wall, utilising the Penn brackets, the Sonos or Sky boxes can be concealed behind these screens to keep everything neat and free of unsightly clusters of wires.
The brackets are competitively priced and will be suitable for pubs, bars, restaurants, clubs, hotels, reception areas, waiting rooms, visitor attractions, theme parks and any commercial or public environment where fuss-free wall fixing is required for a range of audio and AV receiving and streaming equipment.
Brackets for Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV media players are currently being developed.
