Midas & KT's Israeli appointment
UK / Israel - Midas and Klark Teknik recently announced the appointment of D and D, based in Tel Aviv as the exclusive distributor for Midas and KT products throughout Israel. D and D's Danny Ariel, an experienced distribution specialist who set up his own company two years ago, is excited by the prospect.

"Midas and Klark Teknik are world-famous brands, and I am looking forward to representing them in my territory," Ariel commented. "I am particularly looking forward to being able to offer Midas and Klark Teknik customers the very best possible service and support; something they should be able to expect of a globally high standard, but which has been lacking in Israel until now. We are starting as we mean to go on by organizing a national seminar straight away for all Midas and KT customers that will focus partly on training, but also on gaining feedback and dealing with any support issues that may have arisen but not been addressed. For me, providing top-level service and support are key elements of a distributor's role, especially for products like Midas and KT. We're not just here to shift boxes."

Midas and Klark Teknik's sales and marketing director, David Cooper, concurs: "We appointed Danny for a number of reasons; he is young, aggressive, he knows the players in the Israeli marketplace and he understands distribution. However, by far and away the most important factor was that Danny is streets ahead of his competition in offering the best philosophy for supporting the customer. He not only wants to sell consoles, but he actively wants to support product that is already out there in the field. For us, that is imperative if you want to be a Midas and KT distributor. Furthermore, D and D already distributes ElectroVoice and Dynacord in Israel, hence the addition of Midas and Klark Teknik to his portfolio allows him to offer complete Telex package solutions where appropriate, which is just another string to his bow. We are looking forward to a mutually satisfactory and profitable partnership."
