Community CEO Steve Johnson with Millar Electronics’ Jerry Silhavy, Herman Civils, Todd Stevens and Pete Petty
USA - Community Professional Loudspeakers has announced that Millar Electronics is the recipient of its Rep of the Year Award for 2016. Founded in 1924, Millar Electronics focused heavily on building quality relationships through exceptional customer service, covering the Southeast U.S. states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. On 1 July, Millar Electronics becomes Mavric Incorporated, coinciding with the retirement of Millar’s principal Herman Civils.
Steve Young, Community’s North America sales director, commented: “Millar was chosen as Community’s Rep of the Year due to their exceptional success in growing repeat business in the region and surpassing their overall annual goal. Their tenacity is apparent in how quickly they react to customer inquiries and opportunities.”
Herman Civils added: “Community developed into a significant key brand for Millar Electronics. It provides a range of unrivalled solutions in aesthetically sensitive, acoustically challenging or harsh environmental conditions, from small to the largest scale applications. We shared the simple ethos of providing outstanding customer service. Having represented and developed our business with Community for several years, it’s very rewarding to have our efforts recognised with this award.”
The award was presented by Steve Young and Steve Johnson, Community’s CEO, at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando.
