UK - Luke Jackson, the 2010 winner of TPI Magazine'sMy Generation award, has joined Production Resource Group.

Jackson has taken up a position on PRG's production technician team and will be working on the preparation and implementation of a wide range of lighting projects throughout Europe. Initially based at the group's Essential Lighting operation in South West London, Jackson and the production technician team will work across the group in the concert touring, theatre, television, live events and corporate markets PRG are active in.

Martin Locket, CEO of Production Resource Group UK commented, "I met Luke at this year's TPI awards and suggested that he applied for a vacancy on our team. We are pleased that Luke has accepted this opportunity with us, he is precisely the type of new talent that we are recruiting across our group. This further builds on our association with the Technical Theatre course at the BRIT School in Croydon, where Luke trained two years ago."

Jackson added, "Having been freelance since leaving the BRIT School, I am looking forward to the new challenge of this full time role with PRG and the opportunity to develop my skills working on some of the highest profile events in the production industry."

Jackson will retain his role as lighting designer for the Leefest Festival, the event that won him the TPI My Generation award, with PRG Lighting supporting the event with equipment.
