The new training initiative builds on Adamson’s Applied Certification programme
Germany - Adamson Systems Engineering is reinforcing the focus on its global education strategy with the formal introduction of its Advanced Certification training programme at Prolight+Sound 2018.
The new training initiative builds on Adamson’s Applied Certification programme, which over the past eight months has been deployed in over 30 countries and attended by more than 1,000 technicians.
“In 2017, we launched an initiative to build an education standard for our user base and network”, says James Oliver, director of marketing and sales for Adamson. “Applied Certification was its first phase, and today, we’ve already delivered this programme in more than 30 countries. As our network has grown, so has the demand for knowledge. The Advanced Certification programme is an indication to major productions that Adamson and its partner network are committed to implementing the best deployment practices wherever you see the gold Adamson triangle.”
Jeremiah Karni, head of Adamson Education, built the Advanced Certification programme with input from users around the world. “Advanced Certification has been designed for experienced system engineers deploying complex systems in demanding environments. The curriculum gives our user base the ability to dig into advanced simulation features and complex system deployments, all within an optimized workflow.”
The Advanced Certification course delves deeper into aspects of design and control while also discussing electro-acoustic concepts and applications. Additional Blueprint AV techniques and best practices are delivered in tandem with advanced system control and alignment concepts like multi-source alignment and optimization.
Users that have completed Applied Certification qualify for a two-day course to earn their Advanced Certification. The programme is recommended for touring system engineers and integrators regularly utilizing Adamson E-Series and S-Series loudspeaker systems in large-format deployments or design projects. Alternately, a three-day fast-track course will be offered for those who have not yet completed Applied Certification. Attendees will receive an official certificate of attendance upon completion.
“Adamson’s education programme sets itself apart through a benchmark visual design that makes the content easy to relay and absorb, focusing on theory and practical experience that is relevant in the real world,” comments Marc Weber, Adamson’s director of product and brand management. “Education is a key component of the Adamson integrated system offering as it helps our customers and users deliver excellent results in any application.”
Adamson will highlight Advanced Certification along with the production launch of the new IS7p and IS10p two-way, full range point source cabinets during Prolight+Sound.
