On show in booth V11 will be the S-Series and new IS-Series of loudspeakers
UK - Adamson Systems Engineering, in collaboration with its UK distributor, The Warehouse Sound Services, will be exhibiting at this year’s PLASA Show at Olympia from 17-19 September. On show in booth V11 will be the S-Series and new IS-Series of loudspeakers. Key personnel from Adamson and The Warehouse will be present.
Adamson personnel attending will include Jochen Sommer, director of European operations, Jasper Ravesteijn, sales director EMEA, Thomas Vestergaard, technical support Europe and Marc Weber, director of product and brand management from Adamson’s Canadian headquarters.
Warehouse staff on the stand will include Justin Frost, brand manager, Gavin Jenkinson, sales manager and directors Janet Murray and Derek Blair.
The Warehouse Sound Services are the UK distributor for Adamson. The company has invested heavily in Adamson equipment over the last year to help get these systems established in the rental and installation markets within the UK.
This year Adamson launched the IS-Series. The purpose-built IS-Series brings the rider acceptance and performance of Adamson's touring products to the world of integration.
Adamson will be profiling both the recently released IS7/IS118 (Ultra Compact Array). The IS-Series houses the same performance technology found in Adamson’s tour ready S-Series, with a simplified rigging system and beautiful industrial design.
Leveraging proprietary technologies such as: Controlled Summation Technology, Advanced Cone Architecture and intuitive rigging solutions have ensured that the IS-Series meets with Adamson's high standards. Permanent installations present their own set of expectations, and architects and designers need a product that is purpose-built for them. Unobtrusively blending into the surrounding space so that the architectural design remains the centre of attention is paramount. Adamson has achieved this while delivering performance consistent with the rest of its highly-regarded product offerings.
The IS-Series puts the technology and performance of Adamson’s revered touring products, including Kevlar drivers, into an exterior design specifically developed for the architectural market, offering architects and designers outstanding audio performance and rider acceptance that blends perfectly into the aesthetics of the venue. The IS-Series is perfectly suited for wide ranges of applications, including performing arts centres, live performance venues, sports venues, conference centres, and houses of worship.
The stunning S10 Sub Compact Line Array Series will be on show also. S10 has been showcased in the UK on some exciting shows including Bryan Adams, Trainspotting at Leith Theatre as part of the Edinburgh festival, Rock the Stadium in Falkirk with Madness and Jess Glynne and the Montrose Music Festival with Deacon Blue and The Beach Boys.
Last month, The Warehouse used over 100 Adamson loudspeakers, including S10 line array loudspeakers at the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert. The spectacular concert with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra was the closing event for the Edinburgh International Festival (EIF).
Adamson has supplied fixed installations for some of the most renowned venues in the world including the Ushuaia Club in Ibiza, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, Palais des Festivals, home to the Cannes Film Festival, Canada’s Rialto Theatre and international festivals including Canada’s Riot Fest and the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium.
International touring artists including Pharrell Williams, Ellie Goulding, Paul McCartney, Daft Punk and Lady Gaga have also used Adamson products at venues and festivals across the globe.
Adamson has enjoyed continued success this year with worldwide tours from acts including The 1975, Shawn Mendes, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Its global sales and rental network is growing rapidly.
