Ampetronic and Williams form Euro partnership

From 1July, Ampetronic will provide in-region technical and sales support for Williams’ European distribution partners and customers. Ampetronic will also provide European warehousing and logistics support to ensure rapid stock availability across the region for both Williams and Ampetronic product ranges.
In addition, effective 1 May, Ampetronic will become Williams AV’s exclusive distribution partner in the UK and Ireland, offering Williams’ broad product portfolio to its customers.
Ampetronic and Williams AV are both long-standing global champions for hearing accessibility, each of them leading their technology fields in assistive listening solutions. Ampetronic is a market leader in hearing loop technology, and Williams AV specialises in receiver based assistive listening with IR, FM and WiFi platforms, as well as having expertise and products in other areas of communications technology.
“The new partnership brings together strong and complimentary product lines and well-matched philosophies, and will give a new focus and energy on ensuring society can meet the needs of people who experience hearing loss,” says a joint statement.
Of the new strategic partnership agreement Ampetronic MD, Julian Pieters comments: “Williams AV has a strong brand and reputation in the USA, and they are passionate advocates for hearing loops and direct-to-hearing aid solutions for assistive listening. As well as a skilled and knowledgeable hearing loop sales and support team in the USA, Williams are continuing to invest in hearing systems; having just released new IR systems and new IR + WiFi hybrid products, their road-map is a close fit with our market in the UK and Europe.
