Salary: £12.00 to £14.00 /hour negotiable

SES is the leading manufacturer of power distribution for the Entertainment Industry for film sets, powering the lights or sound for world tours and festivals, or keeping the greatest sporting events going. This role will be contributing to SES's brand within the industry and the successful candidate will be responsible for helping to build the kit that powers the largest events around the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring our range of products to the highest standard, using accuracy and within strict time frames. This role will be demanding, and the successful candidate should be eager to develop new skills as well as being a fast learner.
In- house, on the job, training will be provided to ensure that the successful candidate is able to complete their task safely and efficiently but there are certain skills that the successful candidate is expected to have. SES is a manufacturer of electrical equipment not electronic, and skills with electronics will not be applicable for this role.

Qualifications and Skills
• Working knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
• Excellent understanding of written and verbal English and communication skills to match
• Knowledge and understanding of hand and power tools
• Experience of working with 3 phase power systems
• Must have accuracy in all their work
• A want/willingness to learn new things
• Excellent time keeping and punctuality
• Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
• Electrical wiring, soldering and looming experience

Desirable: ·
• Qualifications in electrical principals (18th Edition/ BS7909/City & Guilds 2330/2391/2392)
• Any understanding of AutoCAD drawings
• Any working knowledge of the entertainment industry
• Understanding of multi-meters and different types of circuit protection
• Willingness to work outside of contracted hours, for additional income

The role is a full-time position and will be hourly paid.

The hours will be Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 7.45am to 4pm.
These are the working hours of the company but there is the possibility to work longer hours as overtime is often available. In-house training will be provided in order to ensure that the successful candidate is able to complete their task safely and efficiently.
