Bahrain - Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny delivered a crowd-pleasing performance at the Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre at the Exhibition World Bahrain in September, supported by an Adamson Systems Engineering sound system deployed by Showtech Productions Bahrain.
The Adamson E-Series serves as one of the company’s flagship large-format line arrays and has supported international tours and stadium-scale productions across the globe.
Producing a concert for Tamer Hosny requires great attention to detail, especially when delivering sound to a large, open amphitheatre. The production team needed a system that could provide both consistency and efficiency while maintaining clarity across the venue.
The E-Series presented the balance of power and practicality. Its lightning-fast rigging system and efficient truck pack design not only reduced set-up time, but also helped minimise emissions and transportation costs, a major advantage for touring crews travelling across the region.
To meet the technical and creative demands of this production, the Showtech Productions team deployed a full Adamson system designed to provide coverage throughout the amphitheatre.
The setup included 12 x E15 plus four SpekTrix Downfill per side for the main PA, nine E119 flying subs per side, 18 x T21 (FB Mode) (ground subs) plus 12 x Metrix (four stacks of three high) and seven SpekTrix (one high). Amplification was through Adamson E-Racks with Lab Gruppen PLM 20K44.
The production crew included Alexander Rodrigues (front-of-house tech/head of audio, Showtech Productions), MD Neamat (monitor tech, Showtech Productions), Amr Khairy (FOH engineer) and Ahmed Abdelkader (monitor engineer).
The result was a powerful and dynamic soundstage that brought Hosny’s vocals and instrumentals to life. The system’s flexibility allowed the engineers to adapt seamlessly to the venue, ensuring intelligibility and deep, controlled bass response that enveloped the crowd without distortion.
