France - Arbane Groupe is exhibiting at the JTSE trade fair in Paris (27-28 November, Dock Pullman stand #094). The French audio manufacturer will unveil its new line array, specifically designed for large shows and events, alongside a new APG subwoofer and a design method technology.
APG, a brand of Arbane Groupe, will showcase the new Uniline Max line array system, a high-performance audio system dedicated to large-scale events and concerts. The system features the UM210 2x10” line array speaker and the UM121 1x21” subwoofer, both of which deliver exceptional audio clarity and power for audiences of up to 10,000 people. The Uniline Max is the result of over 40 years of constant innovation, collaboration and listening to the needs of the live events industry. The easy-to-use solution meets the highest level of requirements from rental companies, live performance providers and venue managers.
The system’s ergonomic design ensures the speakers are easy to handle, with thoughtfully positioned rear and side handles for easy transport, and the flexible rigging system supports both tension and compression configurations. This allows the system to integrate perfectly into any stage environment.
The French audio manufacturer has also contributed to the development of a new method for determining the repairability index of professional audio products. True to its core values, APG has actively promoted this initiative and contributed to the commission that created the index rating, earning a score of 9/10 for Uniline Max, highlighting its durability, serviceability and APG’s commitment for creating long-lasting, easily maintainable solutions.
The Uniline Max also incorporates several innovative technologies, including the patent-pending SIGMA waveguide, which ensures optimal coupling between speakers, maintaining precise sound quality across diverse environments. This innovative waveguide technology makes the system adaptable to any stage setup while delivering consistent audio performance.
APG’s SIGMA enables the design of speakers of any shape without sacrificing acoustic performance across a wide range of coupling angles between speakers. The same method allows for the creation of pieces suited to designing long-throw line source speakers with low coupling angles, or a constant curvature system with limited throw but significant coupling angles. This method ensures that the Uniline Max delivers a consistent sound signature, regardless of the angle.
Arbane Groupe will also introduce the APG UM121 subwoofer. Equipped with a 21-inch driver in a hybrid enclosure, the UM121 features a bass-reflex configuration at the rear with a profiled port, optimising roundness in the lower spectrum and creating an impressive physiological impact. The subwoofer is designed to be used on the ground or suspended, with dedicated accessories enabling its use below or alongside UM210 speakers.
“APG is committed to continuous innovation in electroacoustics to convey the artists’ emotions to the audience,” says Eric Grandmougin, marketing director and sales director at Arbane Groupe. “With the launch of the Uniline Max line array and UM121 subwoofer, we aim to reconnect with the French and international audience in touring and live events. We strongly believe these products will offer a timely solution to the needs of the live performance market in today’s economic environment.”
Arbane Group will start organising exclusive listening sessions from January 2025.
