Absen’s new warehouse has the capacity to hold twice the amount of stock than the current one
Europe - Chinese LED manufacturer Absen has moved to allay any concerns caused by the global outbreak of Covid-19 by stocking more than 5,000sq.m of LED product ready for shipping, with further 27,000 sq.m in production covering the company’s array of indoor, outdoor and rental display products.
The stock comes from the company’s manufacturing base in Huizhou as well as Absen’s European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, and across the regions covered by its network of distributors.
Absen is also planning to move its European offices into larger premises by 30 March. The new warehouse is expected to provide the capacity to hold twice the amount of stock than the company’s current one.
The manufacturer has also reported that its factory has been “working at full capacity to meet high demand - with orders up in Europe by 128% when compared to the same period last year”. Leads were also up by 20% versus 2019.
Tania Zhao, managing director of Absen Europe, comments: “We would like to reassure our customers and the market that our company is in a very strong position. We have a vast array of products in stock, which can be shipped directly, or collected from our European warehouse in Germany or our regional distribution partners. Our priority is to ensure our customers and our partners continue to have access to the latest LED products.”
