ISE 2018: Atlona unleashes universal switcher

The Netherlands - Continuing to deliver practical innovations that address disruptive AV industry trends, Atlona is now shipping the AT-UHD-SW-510W 5x1 universal switcher with wireless presentation capabilities. Cost-efficiently supporting the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) movement, the SW-510W combines “unprecedented input flexibility with powerful integration features including automatic display control, automatic input selection, and mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs”.
The SW-510W is now shipping and will be showcased alongside other Atlona integration, collaboration and control solutions during the company’s 15th anniversary celebration in stand 5-U80 at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam.
The SW-510W simplifies system design, integration, and operation by supporting both wired and wireless AV connectivity in a single, compact unit. For local wired sources, the new switcher features one DisplayPort and two HDMI inputs alongside a USB-C input for the latest Mac, Chromebook, and Windows PCs and other USB-C-equipped AV devices. Adding further value and convenience, the USB-C interface can also act as a charging station for laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
