USA - At this year’s 147th AES Pro Audio Convention in New York the OCA Alliance is exhibiting within the AVoIP Pavilion, promoting the advances in control and monitoring of AVoIP networks embodied within the AES70 standard. The convention will be the focus for a number of presentations and announcements from the OCA Alliance, including numerous educational sessions, presentations and demos, and the reveal of a new AES70 Products page on the OCA Alliance website.
The OCA Alliance will be on hand throughout the show as an exhibitor in the pavilion, with experts from the alliance and its member companies available to discuss the AES70 standard, available developer resources, and the evolution and progression of the standard throughout the AV industry.
In addition to demonstrations on its booth, the OCA Alliance will be participating in the programme of presentations in the AVoIP Pavilion Theatre, providing ‘public’ overviews of the AES70 standard to visitors and exhibitors attending the AVoIP Pavilion sessions.
In conjunction with its presence at the convention, the OCA Alliance has also launched a new AES70 Product Page on its website. Highlighting available and shipping product from seven companies covering 11 brands, this product gallery demonstrates the growing ecosystem and adoption of the AES70 standard across different application verticals.
“It’s great to see the portfolio of AES70 devices reaching the market,” says OCA Alliance marketing chairman Ethan Wetzell. “The adoption of a control standard can take time and it’s rewarding to see the continually growing number of offerings across the diverse range of industry sectors that are incorporating this technology.
“Moreover, in addition to products, we are seeing a growing number of reference designs and developer tools that can expand adoption. The growing stable of both free and commercial tools from the alliance and its members are making it easier than ever to experiment with and implement the technology. We all believe that control standards are a critical component of any media networking solution and we are working hard to provide these solutions to the industry.”
