Users can choose which seminar they want to listen to
UK - Silent Seminars (Silent Noize Events), has launched a mobile app designed to allow audiences to listen to live audio using their own headsets.
Intended to work alongside their existing physical headset systems, the app allows users choice when accessing audio at live events. By offering audiences the option to use their own headsets, the Birmingham based headset supplier is hoping to generate user confidence and demonstrate that delegate health and safety is being taken seriously.
With the option to download the app from either the Apple or Google Play stores, users can connect to the content from their smart phones and listen to the audio using their own headphones. Users can choose which seminar they want to listen to and simply press play to access live events that they would otherwise hear over loudspeakers, or through Silent Seminar’s headsets. The app will help event organisers to continue to deliver clear audio at large and small-scale events with the option to stream in as many different theatres as required, and in multiple languages.
The flexibility of the app means it can also be used outside of the conference and exhibition arena. Being completely mobile and power free opens it up for a multitude of other uses such as fitness classes, yoga, cinema, tour guides and film screenings. Music and audio can be delivered ‘silently’ via personal headsets in any environment.
The app is fully customisable, so event information, branding, and sponsorship can all be included in the individual event tab with the additional option to capture and safely encrypt email addresses, names and numbers. For the technicians delivering the audio, a tablet with a separate broadcaster app is provided.
Duncan Strain, director at Silent Seminars, comments: “We are incredibly excited at the launch of this innovative app which will make delivery of seminar content even easier and safer for delegates to access.”
“It is a great time to be launching our app as planners are currently preparing to make up for time lost in 2020 and are keen to use technology to help them adapt in line with COVID regulations. The app offers all the benefits of our headsets - great audio quality, multiple breakout spaces in the same room and reduced noise levels within the space so that multiple exhibitors and presenters can communicate clearly and simultaneously - plus, the process of tuning in is even easier than before."
