Tim Stokholm (ETC) and Børre Linberg (LTB)
Norway - ETC has appointed Lillehammer Tekniske Byrå AS (LTB) as its new Norwegian distributor. LTB has been established with the goal of becoming the market leading supplier of sound, light, AV and stage machinery to hotels, concert halls, TV studios, museums, and cultural centres in Norway.
Following the closure of Atendi AS, the core team has transferred to LTB, bringing with them decades of experience and industry expertise. Over the past 25 years, the team has developed, installed, and put into operation a vast number of sound, lighting, and stage solutions throughout the Nordic region – from simple stages to some of the most modern and complex installations.
“ETC is proud to enter into a collaboration with LTB, which, in addition to being a leading systems integrator, will now also represent and distribute ETC products in the Norwegian market,” says Tim Stokholm, ETC regional manager. “It was important for us to ensure that existing and future users of ETC products could obtain immediate support and service. Therefore, we are happy that LTB has integrated the team from our previous distributor, Atendi, providing a continuation of ETC knowledge and momentum.”
In addition to its pre-existing head office and workshop facilities in Lillehammer, LTB now has a Drammen base with two core areas – product sales and installation – and will be further developed under the leadership of Børre Linberg.
“When the possibility to distribute ETC's products presented itself, we acted quickly to seize the opportunity,” comments Linberg. “And, especially as the team in Drammen was prepared to continue working with LTB, it was easy to get it up and running in a short time.”
“ETC looks to a bright future,” adds Stokholm. “We are very successful with our quality products and complex solutions and as a result we have great growth. Therefore, partnering with LTB was an easy choice – LTB has the skills, motivation, and capacity to grow with us and, above all, help fulfil customer needs.”
