Wharfedale Pro has simplified its passive floor monitor presentation
UK - Following their recent inauguration of a European Experience Centre, Wharfedale Pro continues to uphold a mission of transparency. With the addition of enhanced website navigation and ‘finder’ tools, they are optimising their processes ‘to enable their customers to make more informed, intelligent decisions’.
The newly added ‘bracket and rigging finder’ effectively acts as a filterable table or ‘cheat sheet’, that clearly displays which brackets, rigging and poles (X axis) are most suitable for each model of loudspeaker (Y axis), as well as what quantity is required. The entire loudspeaker range is displayed by default, but the selection can be narrowed to a specific model via a search function. It will serve as an invaluable, at-a-glance tool for integrators who are planning installs of any size.
Similarly, earlier in August, Wharfedale Pro unveiled their decision simplify their passive floor monitor presentation. With a substantial portfolio of passive floor monitors, it became clear that they had to simplify the browsing experience and make it easy to differentiate the specifications. By adopting a ‘good’, ‘better’ and ‘best’ logic, the lineup has simply become easier to understand. As part of this cleaning up, the DVP-X and EVO-X passive floor monitors will be discontinued.
Peter Peck, marketing manager at Wharfedale Pro comments, “Wharfedale Pro is a longstanding company that has produced hundreds of products. Naturally, over time we have actively pruned our portfolio to better reflect the audio standards of the time. However, as markets have become increasingly saturated and competitive, we feel that there is an ever pressing need to consolidate our offering and organise our website intuitively.”
He continues: “Both of these changes reflect our commitment to reduce the overall time spent from browsing to purchase. We’ve observed a tendency in the audio industry to over-complicate things and we want to challenge that! Let’s just make it easy! We’ll be tracking how these tools affect the purchasing habits of our customers as part of our on-going pursuit of optimisation.”
