Nick Screen and Amar Subash

Europe - Harman Professional Solutions has announced leadership appointments across its global sales organisation.

Amar Subash has been appointed to lead the Professional Solutions sales organisation across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, while continuing to oversee sales leadership responsibilities for India. In this expanded role, Amar will set a strategic direction for both regions, focusing on ‘accelerating growth and delivering on Harman’s commitments to customers’.

Over the past nine years at Harman, Amar has held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he led Harman Professional sales efforts across the APAC region and India. Prior to that, Amar served solely as director of sales and operations for the Asia Pacific region (APAC) from 2019 to 2021, and as finance director for APAC from 2017 to 2018. Amar will be based in Harman Professional’s Hemel-Hempstead, UK office.

With Amar’s transition, Nick Screen has been selected to lead the APAC sales organisation. Nick currently oversees channel sales and audio solutions across APAC, where he has focused on building strong partnerships, and supporting the growth of Harman’s professional audio business. Nick has been with Harman for more than 12 years, holding a number of leadership roles.

“These appointments reflect our commitment to strengthening our global sales leadership and positioning Harman for continued success,” said Jaime Albors, senior vice-president, global sales and business development, Harman Professional Solutions. “Amar and Nick bring deep experience, strategic vision, and a strong track record of results. I’m confident they will continue to drive growth and innovation across their respective regions.”

Hamid Soufian, who has led the Professional Solutions EMEA region sales team for the past six years, has left the organisation to pursue other interests outside Harman.

“I want to sincerely thank Hamid for his remarkable leadership over the past 23 years. His dedication and contributions have played a key role in the organisation’s success over the decades,” said Jaime. “We wish him the very best in his next professional chapter.”
