Germany - At Prolight+Sound Frankfurt, TMB introduced Flare Jr, a powerful new compact lighting fixture developed with technology from the popular, award-winning Flare. The Solaris LED Flare Jr, now available for shipment, features many of the breakthrough advances of the original Flare, in a package one-third the size. Flare Jr with its tremendous RGBW output performs as a combined wash/strobe/blinder and effect light, plus it features full RDM functionality and is also offered with a LumenRadio wireless control option.

UK - Aurora Lighting Hire has secured a deal with London Light Production Services Ltd a UK-based theatre, corporate and special events lighting company.

London Light's rental business will merge fully under the Aurora umbrella with immediate effect. The coming together will benefit existing customers of both parties with a new increased inventory pool. This integration combined with substantial equipment investment reflects the forward momentum at Aurora, says the company.

Brazil - Almost 100 Robe moving lights were utilised by rental company Luzbel Iluminacao for the main stage of the 16th Festival de Verao (Summer Festival) in Salvador, the capital of Bahia, Brazil.

The event pulled in more than 120,000 people over four days and Robe was the only moving light brand featured on this stage in a stunning production lighting design by Junior Luzbel, who heads the locally based company with his brother Ricardo Luzbel and his partner Ricardo Gordilho.

Australia - Clay Paky distributor for Australia, Show Technology, has supplied 14 Clay Paky Alpha Spot 300s to luxury venue Doltone House in Sydney's Hyde Park.

Situated on level three of the Tattersalls Club, the Doltone House venue is a prime location for a wide range of events including conferences and weddings and prides itself on grand architecture and sumptuous décor. USA - SGM's pioneering X-5 white LED strobes are fast finding favour on the touring circuit - on both sides of the Atlantic and over a wide range of performance.

One of the recent adopters has been Seattle band Pearl Jam, products of the city's rock explosion at the beginning of the 1990's.
