The WT 550 is able to lift heavy loads (400kg. - 5.98m. high), its compact size (166 cm folded) is may

Germany - Wireless Solution Sweden has announced the debut of new W-DMX triple band technology, making its first appearance during Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt.

Wireless Solution is the first company to introduce dual band technology for wireless lighting control in 2011. Now, the company takes this one step further and introduces triple band technology. As regulations change over time and now to cover the EU Region with higher output compared to the permitted 5.8GHz bandwidth, Wireless Solution now introduces 5.2GHz in all W-DMX BlackBox and ProBox units as standard (Patent pending USA and EU).

With the 5.2GHz frequency, the maximum allowed output power is 200mW, which will provide a distance of approximately 100mW output power on the 2.4GHz. This equals up to 500 meters distance in line of sight.

For the user of wireless lighting controls, this offers a huge advantage for

Germany - - Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands will be launching two new compact lamp systems with unrivalled brightness to meet the demanding requirements of the touring entertainment industry at this week's Prolight + Sound.

Germany - In Frankfurt, Lawo presented the mirroring of two mc² consoles - a requirement especially useful in theatre applications. This allows an mc² console to be located in the auditorium to prepare and fine-tune the mix during rehearsals.

This is the ideal position to do the mix since it is where the audience is sitting, and it enables the mix engineer to be in close contact with the actors. The console settings are mirrored to a console in the control room, where the show mix is handled without disturbing the audience - and with the first console removed, the seats in the auditorium can be taken by paying visitors.
