To be introduced at ISE 2024 in Barcelona later this month, the new hardware device also adopts Barix’s next-generation FLEXA platform to enhance buffering performance, application development, and device prototyping among other benefits.
For the MultiCoder M400, the enhanced buffering performance of the FLEXA platform eliminates all stream buffering within the device - an important benefit given the presence of multiple encoding engines under the hood. In collaboration with SSL, Avid, Dolby and Izotope, PMC will highlight the growing importance of Dolby Atmos for Music and its own role as an industry leader is this field. The set contains all the necessary items to realise countless installation variants: the universal carrier enables lighting or small loudspeakers to be mounted. There is also a universal plate to mount moving lights, projectors etc. and a TV mounting plate. Speakers can be mounted centrally using a spigot.
The set is rounded off by a display mount to hold two displays with a maximum surface area of up to 1.5 m² per display (back to back) and a display holder that can be adjusted in four angles (e.g. for previewers or touchscreens).

Australia - RentalPoint Software has just released a new feature in their software that allows clients a way to generate new sales leads from their website, simply by adding a link to it.
This new link goes to an online form which prompts for a general outline of the event such as the general type of equipment they require, the event name and date, room size and other details plus the contact details of the person enquiring.
Once the form is submitted it can be loaded straight into RentalPoint software without having to retype anything. The form is configurable and the hyperlink can be added to online advertising or email signatures etc. This feature is available as standard at no additional cost.
