"The plugins aim to simplify the work of our customers out in the field"

USA - Renkus-Heinz has announced the launch of third-party control plugin modules for Crestron and Q-SYS, developed in partnership with Control Concepts – specialists in AV software development and API integration.

“We are pleased to offer the first of our new series of third-party plugins, specifically for Q-SYS and Crestron Series 4,” says product manager Brandon Heinz. “These plugins have been widely requested by our customers, and we are excited to announce that they are now available to download for use on your next project. Designed to streamline control and monitoring for large-scale projects, the plugins aim to simplify the work of our customers out in the field.”

Beyond workflow improvements, the plugins are backed by Control Concepts’ official supported product programme. Control Concepts’ ongoing support of the plugins empowers integrators with the assurance that their API integrations are fully tested, approved, and endorsed by the manufacturer, whose in-depth product knowledge ensures responsive support and quick issue resolution. “We chose to work with Control Concepts to develop these plugins due to their long-standing relationship with integrators and manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality solutions,” Heinz states.

As a trusted AV industry partner, Control Concepts delivers well-crafted software and integration solutions, helping manufacturers create products that are easier to adopt, integrate, and trust. “We are proud to be selected as Renkus-Heinz's partner for API integration with Crestron and Q-SYS,” comments Steve Greenblatt, president and founder of Control Concepts. “We value their focus on creating products that are programmer- and integrator-friendly, and the availability of endorsed and supported plugins is a strong example of this dedication.”

“The entire process of development with Control Concepts was straightforward and painless,” continues Brandon Heinz. “A highlight of this partnership is their commitment to supporting the plugins, giving our mutual customers access to expert technical assistance whenever needed. “We have plenty more plugins planned for the future. We look forward to seeing how our customers will put them to use.”
