The VC-1-SC will be introduced at InfoComm in Orlando at the Roland Systems Group booth #1458
UK - Roland Systems Group has announced the addition of the VC-1-SC Video Converter to the powerful VC-1 Series line-up. Recently introduced at the NAB show, the VC-1 Series of products address the market demand for high-quality, video and audio converters for live/post production as well as installed systems. The new VC-1-SC is an Up/Down Cross/Scan converter to SDI/HDMI with Frame Sync.

Video devices that accept uncompressed signals such as SDI and HDMI have become more common in live production, and as a result, the need for video conversion is essential. The Roland VC-1-SC Video Converter is ideal for live production where analogue or digital sources are required to match a certain SDI and/or HDMI video format, aspect ratio, frame rate, or input type. The versatility of this converter to support a variety of configurations for live production and installations make it highly valuable in many applications.

The VC-1-SC features 3G (Level A and B)/HD/SD SDI In/Out, HDMI In/Out, RGB/Component In and Composite In as well as HDCP support. Selectable audio embedding and de-embedding enables audio signals from a different source to be placed into the video output. A built-in Frame Synchronizer and Scaler as well as Up/Down/Cross, Frame Rate, I/P and Aspect Ratio Conversion add to the professional features of this compact product. The VC-1-SC can also be controlled via PC/Mac using the Control Application (VC-1 RCS).
