Sennheiser UK will promote the 2000 series of wireless microphones and monitor systems
UK - At this year's ABTT Show, Sennheiser UK will highlighting its 2000 series range of wireless microphones and in-ear monitor systems. Of particular interest to visitors will be the new Channel 38 compatible 2000 series GBw range variant, which tunes between 606 and 678MHz inclusive, says the company.

Sennheiser's 2000 series has become popular for theatre applications, with its range of wireless transmitters and receivers offering a comprehensive selection of components for vocals, instruments and in-ear monitoring.

The heart of the 2000 series is its true diversity receiver, available as a 19-inch rack mount unit with single channel (EM 2000) or twin channel (EM 2050) design. With multiple UHF frequency ranges, each with a switching bandwidth of up to 75 MHz, the range offers great flexibility, aided by professional frequency management which takes place directly through Wireless System Manager (WSM) software, with is available on a PC or Mac.

Automatic frequency synchronisation via an infrared interface saves time during set-up, while the integrated antenna loop-through enables systems of up to 16 channels to be set up without an external splitter. An integrated guitar tuner and guitar cable emulator also makes the EM 2000 the perfect wireless system for guitarists when used in combination with the SK 2000 bodypack transmitter. The audio frequency response of the transmitter extends down as far as 25Hz (line) to ensure a rich response from bass guitars, while the instrument cable is fitted with Neutrik's silentPLUG.

Alongside 2000 series, Sennheiser will be showing 3000 and 5000 series wireless microphones and in-ear monitor systems, plus a selection from third party brand K-array's highly innovative range of loudspeakers, including KR400, KR200 and Kobra.
