As Jon Lane, founder and managing director of Smart-e says, "Our products are well-known and proven within the AV sector and we hope this new partnership will open up new markets and extend our reach."

The Change Organisation's sales director Owain Williams commented, "As an IT distributor, The Change Organisation saw Smart-e as an ideal fit to capitalise on the converging AV and IT markets. We were impressed with their personnel, their history, their understanding of the markets and their strategy for future growth; all of which align well with our own plans.

"With their support and advice, we have been able to progress from initially distributing their products to now offering a full 'cradle to grave' AV solution. AV & IT are no longer separate worlds and The Change Organisation, with the support of Smart-e, is perfectly positioned to help our customers take advantage of this."

Smart-e designs and manufactures audio and video distribution and switching solutions for multimedia equipment over Cat 5-8 structured cabling. Products include splitters, extenders, switchers and matrices, using HDMI over Cat 6 (HDBaseT), which are employed in the corporate, entertainment, presentation, and educational sectors as well as being used for many digital signage and security and surveillance applications.

The Change Organisation will deliver first line support whilst Smart-e will continue to provide technical support.
