AC-ET will showcase over 15 brands from its portfolio of over 200 marques at PLASA 2018
UK - A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) will exclusively showcase over 15 brands from its portfolio of over 200 marques at PLASA 2018 (Stand E30), London - including four products nominated for this year's PLASA Awards for Innovation and several previous Innovation award-winners.
2018 PLASA Awards nominees include PROLIGHTS' new Panorama IP WBX IP65 LED moving wash light ideal for temporary outdoor events; Columbus McKinnon's new Lodestar VS chain hoist featuring Magnetek IMPULSE G+ Mini drive and other industry-leading safety procedures; Tourmate's new Multilock Hoist Connector for distribution of power and control to motorised hoists which eliminates potential cross-connection with other entertainment applications; and BroadWeigh's new BW-HA advanced wireless handheld display for its innovative wireless load monitoring system.
Staff from AC-ET's dedicated product sales divisions will also exclusively demonstrate cutting-edge technologies from other leading lighting, rigging, video and audio brands.
Lighting highlights include Chroma-Q's new Studio Force II high intensity tuneable white wash light - which utilises homogenised LED optics and other leading technologies from the multi award-winning Color Force II cyc, wash & effects lighting range - and new Brute Force LED alternative to a quarter ‘Wendy’ light, which has been rigorously tested in a variety of ‘real world’ scenarios to ensure optimal functionality across many indoor and outdoor applications; PROLIGHTS' new RA3000 1000W fully featured moving LED profile; Quasar Science's Q-Rainbow RGB and tuneable white, internally ballasted linear LED fixture; and Spotlight's new Hyperion 6-colour (RGB plus amber, cyan & lime) LED Fresnel range delivering improved creativity and colour rendering.
In addition to new lighting fixtures, control and power distribution highlights include Vista by Chroma-Q's all-new Vista 3 lighting & media control software, and new EX and MV control surfaces; Follow-Me's remote Followspot control system, adding a new level of creative freedom; RatPac's AKS router and DMX node for wirelessly controlling an entire DMX universe from a smartphone; StageSmart's 2017 PLASA Innovation Award Winning smartPDU, next generation power distribution & load monitoring system; and LSC's new UNITY large-scale power switching/dimming installation racks that can control virtually any load.
Video highlights include Green Hippo's new Hippotizer media server Version 4.4 software featuring Crossfade on Layer and the unmatched performance of Hippotizer Montane+; ProLights' OmegaPIX IP65 modular LED screen with a 3.9mm pitch, which delivers stunning image quality in even bright daylight conditions; and Just Add Power's award-winning HDMI over IP scalable, ethernet based video distribution system.
Audio highlights include Dynamic Audio Device's (D.A.D.) Touring Power series of high fidelity active & passive professional loudspeakers delivering exceptional performance and value; Midas Digital's M32 digital mixer with stellar sonic performance and intuitive workflow at an entry level price; Shure's 2017 PLASA Innovation Award Winning Axient Digital system delivering next generation, flawless wireless audio performance;
Allen & Heath's dLive digital consoles range featuring a very intuitive user interface and world class audio quality; and Sennheiser's new evolution wireless G4 series providing even simpler, more flexible and reliable wireless technology.
Alongside the three 2018 PLASA Awards nominees, rigging highlights also include Sixty82's complete range of trussing & staging systems, which feature next generation innovations including RFID serial no. tagging and product personality labelling, and mobile app featuring augmented reality structure visualisations.
As an example of the increasing convergence of entertainment technologies, the stand will also showcase Luminex's GigaCore Ethernet Switch range - developed for building a complex lighting, audio & video fibre network quickly and very easily, and with a dual redundant backup allowing seamless transfer in the event of a cable failure.
