USA - Companies joining the Behind the Scenes Pledge-of-Support Programme make a long-term commitment to support the work of the charity through the sale of their products or services.
The organisation reports that despite the unprecedented challenges of the past year, these companies stepped up to honour their commitment with 2020 donations and Behind the Scenes is extraordinarily grateful for that support. “Our deepest thanks go to Concert Shop, ETC, Evoke Collaborative, Gray Matter Visual, HG Lighting Design, InCord, J-4 Design, Light Touch Designs, Lightswitch, Litegear, Rosco, TMB, and Westview Productions,” says BTS. “We encourage you to support these companies in whatever way you can, because they are supporting you during good times and bad.”
To join the programme, companies pledge a percentage of profits of the sale of a product or service to the charity on an ongoing basis. After being approached by individuals looking for a way to support Behind the Scenes through their creative work, BTS has established the Individual Pledge Partner Programme. This allows unaffiliated individuals who offer design services, author books, have speaking or teaching engagements, or are an artist, photographer, craftsperson, etc. to make a pledge to support the charity on an ongoing basis with their work.
The Behind the Scenes charity provides entertainment technology professionals, or their immediate dependent family, who are seriously ill or injured with grants that may be used for basic living and medical expenses.
