UK - A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) will exclusively show over 20 brands from across its dedicated lighting, rigging, audio and video sales divisions on stand E30 at PLASA 2019 (15-17 September, London Olympia).
The stand will feature at least six products that have been nominated for the PLASA Awards for Innovation 2019, including the Prolights PixieWash XB, a single source RGB+WW LED wash light with extensive zoom and high CRI. Also nominated from Prolights is Mosaico XL, a long-throw IP66 LED fixture for projecting gobos and textures onto buildings and landscapes with colour mixing, animation wheel and framing shutters. LumenRadio’s TimoTwo module, which brings concurrent CRMX (wireless DMX/RDM) and Bluetooth to a single chip, and BroadWeigh’s Bluetooth system that sends data straight to a smart device, have also been nominated.
Other nominees include Luminex, who will be unveiling Araneo, a free software that provides a graphical overview of a network; and Claypaky’s laser-source beam light, Xtylos.
Lighting highlights include the new Chroma-Q Space Force onebytwo variable white LED soft light panel. Recipient of a Lighting Product of the Year Award at NAB, the cost-effective, bright, high quality unit is a modern replacement for traditional soft sources. The popular Space Force fixture, upon whose technologies the onebytwo is based, will also be on display, alongside Chroma-Q's other film and TV fixtures, the Studio Force II and the Brute Force, a powerful, LED alternative to traditional light sources.
Additional moving heads on show from leading manufacturer, Claypaky include the Sharpy Plus, HY B-EYE K25 and Mini-B. Other lighting innovations include Spotlight’s Hyperion 6-colour LED Fresnel range; and Quasar Science’s Q-LED Linear LED fixtures.
Control and networking highlights include Vista by Chroma-Q's Vista 3 lighting & media control software, and EX and MV control surfaces; Luminex’s new LumiNode next generation Ethernet to DMX processor and GigaCore Ethernet Switch ranges; LumenRadio’s new MoonLite compact, battery-powered DMX/RDM transceiver with Bluetooth connectivity; and RatPac’s AKS router and DMX node. For Distribution and Dimming, StageSmarts’ new C24 - which is based on its PLASA award-winning smartPDU technology - enables serious power distribution for a broader range of customer and applications; and LSC's UNITY large-scale power switching/dimming installation racks can control virtually any load.
Manfrotto will be showcasing a range of industry standard, professional lighting support solutions including their popular Long John Silver Stand, alongside Avenger’s range of grips specifically designed for the Film and TV industry.
Rigging highlights feature SIXTY82’s general purpose and high load truss, stage decking, roof system solutions and tower truss including the innovative Multibase system - which offers every component required to change the way that structural systems are used. Also showing is the CM Lodestar range of chain hoists, which are IP-rated and feature an adjustable clutch as standard.
Audio highlights include Dynamic Audio Device's (D.A.D.) Touring Power series of high fidelity active and passive professional loudspeakers delivering exceptional performance and value; Midas Digital's M32 Live digital mixer with stellar sonic performance and intuitive workflow at an entry level price; Shure's 2017 PLASA Award Winning Axient Digital system delivering next generation, flawless wireless audio performance; Allen & Heath's dLive digital consoles range featuring a very intuitive user interface and world class audio quality; and Sennheiser's evolution wireless G4 series providing even simpler, more flexible and reliable wireless technology. DPA’s microphones will also be on display, and include lapel, headworn and handheld devices.
Video highlights include Green Hippo’s latest Hippotizer Version 4.5 software, with new features including 3D Output Management in Shape and Beat Bridge, and the Montane+ RTX media server. Also on demonstration is Prolights' OmegaPIX indoor modular LED screen with a 2.6mm pitch and Just Add Power's HDMI over IP scalable Ethernet-based video distribution system. The PureLink IPAV Pro Series will make its PLASA debut, which combines revolutionary 10GbE IP switching technology with a toughened chassis custom built for rental and staging.
The stand will also feature Tourflex Cabling, which provides high quality bespoke mains power, data and specialist cable manufacturing and assembly.
