UK - XL Video continued its record breaking summer streak supplying over 2000sq.m of LED screen plus control and crew across eight stages and arenas at the UK's biggest and highest profile EDM event, Creamfields, staged on Daresbusy Estate near Warrington over the August Bank holiday weekend.

It was the largest amount of screen supplied to date to the festival with which XL has been involved for the last five years via creative and technical production specialists, LarMac LIVE. The production values for this year's event were significantly increased following excellent results last year and to keep at the forefront of the vibrant European festival scene.

Stardraw's symbols library has been a work in progress for over 20 years. Since the advent of the Symbols Request service in 2002, Stardraw's specialist symbols department has received almost 13,000 product requests, of which 95% have been published. On average, the company receives around 100 product requests per month.

USA - It is television's biggest night, and Pete's Big TVs was there for the first time to support The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Show with host Seth Meyers.

The high profile event, held annually by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, was broadcast live on NBC 25 August from the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

UK - When it comes to the London premiere of the Marvel superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy, you know you're going to need a robust, reliable, and feature-rich console to control the lighting: step forward Luke Edwards and his Avolites Tiger Touch II.

Thousands of fans turned up at the capital's Empire Theatre in Leicester Square to see stars including Vin Diesel arrive on the red carpet and be interviewed on a specially created structure that boasted 20 x LED pixel tracks, amongst other fixtures.

Using the Tiger Touch II's pixel mapping feature, Edwards - who also works as touring LD for acts such as Gary Numan and Crystal Fighters - programmed a video-like look that wowed the crowds.
