WNO and Autograph - 50 years on

In 1973, WNO became one of Autograph’s very first clients as they took delivery of a bespoke cue light and comms system, designed and built by company founder Andrew Bruce. In a remarkable coincidence and almost exactly 50 years later, Welsh National Opera have just taken delivery of a suite of Riedel comms equipment, also supplied and commissioned by Autograph.
To mark the occasion, Andrew Bruce visited WNO to meet their technical staff and present a commemorative certificate to Ian Jones, WNO’s recently retired head of lighting & sound. Ian started at WNO in 1979 and used Andrew’s original system for some years, so they had much to discuss!
