UK - The security training school has been developed in conjunction with the needs of its partner Company AP Security and for training for the security and stewarding industry as a whole.

With its trainers being also active on the circuit at some of the major events and venues throughout UK, it allows for training to be fully up to speed with the current and future proofing requirements of the industry.

The company already works with a back to work agency REED and is currently bidding for services resettlement courses as well.

UK - Organisational changes at Midas and Klark Teknik have seen the departure of former MD John Oakley at the beginning of June.

Midas and Klark Teknik are now undergoing a restructuring of the management team "to accommodate Oakley's departure and allow for better integration within the shared services of the parent Music Group".

Ian Riley, who joined Midas and Klark Teknik from Harman earlier this year, takes on the role of VP operations and R&D, while Jonathan Chitty is VP customer support, a new division which handles day-to-day commercial and financial matters.

UK - This year the ABTT Awards were sponsored by Jelf Insurance who during the show launched their Public Liability/PI insurance scheme tailored to the needs of people who work in the entertainment industry.

The Lighting Product of the Year went to The Arc LED Houselight System from Global Design Solutions. UK - The spin continued for d&b with its monochrome Black on black and White on white exhibition stand at this year's ABTT Theatre Show.
