USA - LSC Lighting Systems booth at LDI this year will see the production launch of the new Clarity LX600 lighting and media control consoles. This will be the first USA showing of the production ready LX600 model.

Recently, both the LX300 and LX600 were used as the main consoles to run the media servers and studio lighting for the International Broadcast Centre at Olympic park for London 2012 and were hailed as a major success by Channel 4 TV.

Also on the booth will be the highly successful Clarity software and VX-Wings, the MDR DMX512 Splitter range with optional RDM and the NEXUS product family that offers bi-directional Ethernet /DMX512 conversion.

UK - Michael Grandage CBE, will open this year's TheatreCraft event by giving a welcome speech at 9am on Friday 30 November 2012, at the Royal Opera House.

TheatreCraft, which is now in its seventh year, is the essential free event for anyone aged 17 to 25 looking for a non-performance career in theatre. Participants can explore topics including producing, stage management, wig-making, lighting, marketing, theatre journalism, sound, directing, costume design, playwriting and designing.

Sweden - Lady Gaga is taking the globe by storm in her current world tour, Born This Way Ball. The show clocks in at two and a half hours with 23 songs split into five acts. The stage is modelled on a medieval Gothic castle featuring viewing towers, intricate carvings and a large catwalk allowing audience interaction.

Switzerland - Vegas Dance Club is the newest destination for clubbers in Lucerne Switzerland, featuring a regular line up of hot international DJs, a capacity of 1000 and a Robe moving light rig as specified by lighting designer Frank Alofs from Audiotech KST AG.

Alofs was asked by the venue's owners to come up with an exciting lighting scheme to match the vibes and exclusive feel of the venue.
