The Netherlands - Partially funded by the municipality of Apeldoorn, Gigant is a versatile cultural centre in the heart of The Netherlands, featuring as of 1995 a cinema, a pop stage, a city stage, two theatres, a café with a terrace, and a course house hosting educational workshops in various art forms, including visual arts, circus, ensembles and orchestras, contemporary music and theatre amongst others.
Since it was established in 1977 in an old school building, Gigant has focused on popular music and art-house performances, with international artists such as U2, Nirvana, Herman Brood, Golden Earring and UB40.

Israel - The Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv is one of the busiest and most recognised in Israel, and since 2003 has been located in the vibrant cultural hub that is the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Centre. Founded in 1848 shortly after the State of Israel itself was formally established, the theatre is focused on producing local works. It has five halls, the largest with a 1000 capacity and has recently invested in Robe Esprite moving lights and Tetra2 moving LED battens.
These were the first moving lights in the venue and were initially purchased for a production of Kaymim Achadim lit by Nadar Barnea, explained technical manager Shabi Aaron Nahum, who is delighted with the new fixtures.

UK - Perfectly located near London’s King’s Cross and Euston stations, 30 Euston Square is managed by hospitality provider, Searcys. The venue’s 300-seat tiered auditorium and exhibition space is regularly used for larger-scale conferences and exhibitions, making it essential to provide quality audio. Italy - Director of photography Davide Manca has chosen Prolights equipment to update the lighting at the Leonardo3 Museum in Milan.
The Leonardo3 Exhibition was opened in March 2013 at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by the Study Centre Leonardo 3 and has quickly earned its place in the cultural scenario in Milan, going from being a temporary exhibition to a museum installation.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the exhibition, the management announced a renewal of the exhibition halls through a lighting project created by Davide Manca. He chose to rely on Prolights lighting solutions, selecting LinearLED fixtures ArcShine S18FC and ArcShine S9FC to light up the walls of the art booths.

The Netherlands - The 013 Poppodium in Tilburg, a vibrant live music venue offering a diverse and lively range of shows across its two performances spaces, has recently taken delivery of 30 new Robe Forte moving lights.
These are installed over the stage in the main 3,000 capacity auditorium, which is the biggest such venue in the Netherlands. The new lights are part of a technical upgrade and Robe’s latest LED technology is replacing previous older spot moving lights from another brand!

UK - As part of wider refurbishment works, Epsom Downs Racecourse has undergone an audio-visual overhaul to bring it into line with modern-day standards.
The site had a combination of audio and video systems which had been modified over the last 20 years, and needed rationalising into a single, dual control, easy-to-use system. The challenge was to find a single audio-visual system that was both reliable, and easy to use. The new system needed to provide top-quality service and remain ahead of the curve in terms of technological A/V innovation.

UK - The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford has once again opted for TiMax SoundHub to assist with spatial audio control and timing in its theatres.
The RSC first introduced TiMax to its 450-seat Swan Theatre over a decade ago and now, as the opportunity arose, they have upgraded that system to the latest TiMax FPGA spatial audio core and added an extra TiMax SoundHub-S64 with MADI to the main 1200-seat Royal Shakespeare Theatre’s sound control. The installation was supplied, supported and installed by digital audio experts, HD Pro Audio.

Belgium - Active Audio is celebrating the largest deployment to date of its intelligent, steerable StepArray SA180S column loudspeakers - 64 of which are providing intelligibility as part of a new sound system deployment at Leuven railway station in Flemish Brabant, Belgium.
Originally constructed in the 1830s, the current station design dates back to 1875, when it was rebuilt in the eclectic style. Since 2000, it has undergone a series of renovations, including the addition of a monumental roof comprising 16 sloping white domes, designed by Philippe Samyn and Partners to resemble sails fluttering in the wind, with 13 railway lines underneath serving national and international destinations.

USA - Funktion-One rental partner Nomad Sound Systems installed the largest ever deployment of Vero and Vero VX for Creator Clash 2.0 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The celebrity influencer boxing event welcomed 30,000 spectators to the arena and thousands more viewers around the world who tuned in for the PPV broadcast, with the winners’ prize money going to their chosen charities.
Creator Clash’s producers selected Nomad Sound System as the audio supplier, explained company founder Leo Eckersdorff: “A friend of mine based in New York reached out as he was the producer of this event and wanted to have an audio partner local to Florida that he could trust. This was a first ‘in the round’ event for Nomad Sound Systems and I believe one of the largest ever Vero and Vero VX deployments.”

France - The D-Day Museum at Arromanches-les-Bains on the Northern French coast has chosen Panasonic projectors to illustrate the activity before, during, and after the historic Normandy landings, bringing the events of 1944 to life like never before through multiple immersive and interactive experiences.
The newly re-built museum, working alongside AV integrator Auvisys, needed innovative, quiet and reliable projectors to bring the events of 1944 to life in four key areas of the exhibition. This included an auditorium, video mural, projection mapping and virtual reality projections. The museum chose a combination of Panasonic’s state-of-the-art PT-MZ16K, PT-RZ790, and PT-RZ990 laser projectors, and ET-EMW300, ET-DLE060, ET-DLE085, and ET-DLE020 lenses.

Sweden - Kulturkvarteret Örebro (KKV Örebro) was created with the mission of fostering culture within the Swedish municipality of Örebro. The five-storey building is particularly focused on enriching the lives of children and young people in the area through the arts and is heavily utilised by students of the local Örebro University; however, the building is also open for public use as well.
The centre encompasses the Örebro City Library, Kulturskolan, multiple stages, rehearsal spaces, and an art school specialising in music, dance and theatre, as well as an art gallery. Genelec partnered with the integrator JML-System AB to elevate the audio experience at this new development.

Romania - The Palace of the Parliament is the heaviest structure in the world, outweighing even the Pyramids of Giza, and second in terms of area covered only to The Pentagon. The downtown Bucharest building’s impressive presence has provided a dramatic backdrop for a host of major films. Recently, the 365,000 m2 landmark served as the setting for an international conference when it hosted the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference.
Although it may have lacked the drama of a Hollywood blockbuster, the three-week long conference had an impact on the way people around the world talk to one another. A specialised agency of the United Nations, the ITU is active in advancing global satellite communication. Underscoring its importance, over 2,000 experts and dignitaries from around the world filed into 25 meeting spaces during the conference.

South Africa - The AFM Fountain of Life Church in the tropical garden town of Tzaneen recently played host to the Tzaneen Pastors Fraternal Worship Conference. Audio clarity at such events is an essential element of proceedings, something which on this occasion might have proved challenging given that the venue was approaching the end of a renovation project. Although the work was almost concluded, the interior had not yet benefitted from carpets or any form of acoustic treatment.

USA - European manufacturer of LED screens Alfalite has announced a distribution agreement signed with Vitech US Inc. for this Miami-based company to be the master distributor of the manufacturer in the rental and pro AV Integration channels in Latin America.
Vitech US will now distribute the Alfalite Litepix LED panels to its partners in the rental market, as well as the Alfalite ModularPix LED panels to its integrators in the pro AV market.

UK - Ringwood School in Hampshire has a particularly strong reputation in the performing arts, and has recently completed building The Barn, a new, 600-capacity venue equipped with an all-Nexo sound system designed and installed by Poole-based audio-visual technology and production services specialists Pulse PA.
“We came to the project early so were able to advise on acoustic treatments at the building design stage” reports Pulse MD and founder Ralph Walsh. “Our sister-company installed the infrastructure for sound, lighting, data and video projection, and flexibility of use was the guiding principle of our design. USA - Deep in the heart of Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square neighbourhood lies St. Mark’s Church. Considered one of the best concert venues in the city, the church nave is quite large, with seating for more than 450 people. Parishioners celebrated the church's first service in 1849 under the overarching timber fretwork of the great roof.
The Decorated Gothic style of the church, with vaulted ceilings, solid wood pews and stone masonry throughout, contributed to an unsatisfactory reverberation time of three seconds. Beam steering arrays from Renkus-Heinz are designed for installations requiring highly targeted audio solutions.
Church staff reached out to Joe DiSabatino, lead design engineer at JD Sound & Video, to design a new audio system for the sanctuary. DiSabatino partnered with local acoustical engineer Hadi Sumoro of HX Audio Lab to model the acoustics
