Tony Molloy of Panasonic oversees the delivery with Andrew Ellerby of Saville
UK - As part of an ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best in presentation technology, Saville Audio Visual has just taken delivery of 16 Panasonic DLP laser projectors for the conference and live events division. The investment is a major step in enhancing the hire stock available through the company’s twelve nationwide branches.
The new PT-RZ970 is a single lamp DLP projector featuring a huge 9,400 ANSI lumen output for high contrast and vivid colours at full HD resolution. Combined with Panasonics Clarity Processor 3 technology, it provides excellent levels of clarity, detail and depth with full edge-blending and projection mapping capability.
“Having seen the projector at ISE, we invited Panasonic to a shoot-out with two other leading brands and it’s performance resulted in us placing the order,” explained Andrew Ellerby, technical support manager at Saville. “We were impressed with the high quality and consistently bright images, which when combined with the dust-resistant optical engine and laser light source that eliminate the need for filter and lamp replacements, means this will be a powerful work-horse for our projection fleet.”
Each projector is pre-rigged in a versatile flying frame providing multiple mounting options for vertical, horizontal and side installation. This flexibility is further enhanced with Geometry Manager Pro software and a unique dual drive laser engine providing failover lightsource protection for those mission critical presentations.
Ellerby continues: “These unique features mean our creative teams are no longer limited to standard-shaped, flat screens, thereby allowing clients access to a whole range of new and innovative staging and projection solutions for events. With the inbuilt failsafe capability, we can be sure that there will always be an image on-screen.”
Tony Molloy, project sales manager at Panasonic comments: “Saville has a wealth of experience and expertise in terms of audio visual technology for conferencing and events. We are delighted they’ve recognised that Panasonic’s laser projectors can be of great benefit to themselves and their customers.”
