The PTB team - Adrian Veale, Nick Ewins and Andy Philips
UK - Newly formed installation business, Push the Button Ltd (PTB), launched in January 2012, is the brainchild of Nick Ewins.

"PTB's full time staff members, alongside our team of skilled specialist electricians and engineers, bring a friendly, expert approach to the demands of entertainment installation projects. Whether it's a top West End theatre, a cruise ship or a multipurpose arts venue, PTB understands the client's needs and has the ability to respond productively and positively every time," says Ewins. "This philosophy has brought work to our doors from the moment we opened them for business."

Push the Button's mission is "to bring an intelligent and sympathetic approach to its clients' projects". The business covers the fields of electrical design, installation, project management and test & inspection.

Although PTB is effectively a start-up, it is run by an experienced team of design and engineering professionals comprising Nick Ewins, managing director; Andy Philips, design engineer and Adrian Veale, operations manager. Their combined knowledge brings over eighty years of practice within the industry to the venture.

"We offer a bespoke, collaborative approach that we know our clients prefer," says Ewins. "Between the three of us we've worked in some of the most prestigious, and challenging, venues in the UK and overseas. We have first hand industry experience, we understand the client and the pressures they face and we can quickly respond with a relevant solution. At PTB, we never cut corners. We believe in providing quality solutions backed up by durable and dependable equipment and we're always on the lookout for new technology that's fit for the work that we do."

PTB can also provide design and manufacturing services of bespoke facility panels, Powerlock distribution and one off, bespoke built solutions.

Based in Bristol at Unit 25, Kestrel Court, Harbour Road, Portishead, Bristol, BS20 7AN, all PTB engineers have CSCS accreditation and each is certified under the Joint industry board scheme.
