The company was founded in April 2002 by three experienced sound engineers, Laurent Maestre, rental director Régis Casu and commercial director Cédric Duminy. Their move was promopted by the mutual desire to develop a highly professional rental, service and distribution operation.
The agreement to join the Synco Network marks Régietek’s first investment in equipment, following a year of feasibility and technical studies into various audio brands. "Our aim was to create a high-performance sound reinforcement system exactly tailored to our market," explains Laurent Maestre. "We intend to develop the markets in and around Paris and across northern France, and therefore decided to base our warehouse, offices and registered office in Plaisir (Yvelines) near Paris."
Casu and Maestre encountered a Renkus-Heinz Synco Touring System on a tour last year. "We were very impressed with the sharpness, dynamics and power of that system," continues Maestre. "We decided to contact Fred Heueves and open negotiations with Synco. The flexibility, coherence, sound quality and ergonomics were the dominating elements in our choice of system. "The advantage with the Renkus-Heinz Synco system is that we can do big shows and small shows with the same box. In the future we intend to also take the Synco/Martin W8L line array system as well."

Régietek’s PA system is complemented by Midas Heritage consoles and, as a Synco Network member, the company will have access to the 96-input DiGiCo D5 Live digital mixing system recently purchased by Synco Network founder member Ampco Pro Rent.
