UK - PLASA continues to adapt to meet the changing demands of the dynamic and diverse markets it serves and for this year's PLASA Show (7-10 September at Earls Court, London) significant changes are in place to engage more visitors and exhibitors in this energetic, inspirational and trend-setting environment. The PLASA Professional Development Programme (PLASA PDP), the Association's new training initiative, will be hosting the educational programme at this year's show. This extended educational platform will examine current trends and issues across the broad range of our industry and provide visitors with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and learn from the industry experts.

The format for this year's programme has changed to offer visitors more choice and variety. This year, the sessions will range from Technical Workshops aimed at technicians through to Business Seminars, which will take into consideration freelance workers and young company start-up requirements. In addition, industry seminars will cover a wider remit across all the key areas of PLASA, whilst the Masterclasses will provide a forum for industry experts to share their knowledge.

The educational programme is supported by some of the industry's leading trade bodies, associations and publications, including AETTI (Arts & Entertainment Technical Training Initiative), HSE (Health & Safety Executive), STLD (Society of Television Lighting Directors) and the ISCE (Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers).

If you are a member of PLASA or one of the supporting associations, you can attend the sessions at a discounted rate. For further information on these seminars and other seminars available, log onto the website below or e-mail for further details.
