UK - Event branding specialist Sunbaba continues to grow, appointing two new members of staff. Andy Collings joins as operations director and Jemma Syms as an account executive.

Collings is responsible for improving systems and streamlining company processes before taking Sunbaba into new marketplaces. USA - Audio-Technica has announced the appointment of Mark Donovan to the newly created position of sales engineer - installed sound, reflecting the company's continuing dedication to the installed sound market sector. The announcement was made by Audio-Technica US vice president of sales Marc Lee Shannon.

In his new position, Donovan will work closely with Shannon and the rest of the sales team, serving as Audio-Technica's primary technical resource for installed sound contractors, consultants and architects.

India Harman Professional has announced the creation of three new sales teams positions in India and the appointments of Kaushal Garg, Robin Ghose, and Vibhor Khanna to fill the roles. The new additions will serve as the national sales manager and the regional sales managers for North and West India, respectively, and will be directed by Harman Professional's senior director of sales for Asia, David McKinney.

Garg comes to Harman with 22 years of experience at Bhartia Cutler Hammer, a switchgear company, and most recently Bose India, where he was the head of the Professional Division for sales for the past 12 years. At Harman, he will work with his team to generate demand in India for Harman Professional products across all markets - including MI, broadcast/recording, cinema, tour-sound and more - using various sales, channel network and business development strategies.

USA - Bridget Cox, a contract project manager with J. R. Clancy, has passed the exam in the Entertainment Technician Certification Programme (ETCP) for Theatre Rigging. Cox is now an ETCP-certified rigging professional.

The certification indicates proficiency in the use of counterweight, mechanical, and hydraulic systems installed in theatres. ETCP riggers also understand the health and safety issues involved in the use of theatre rigging, as well as Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requirements for the use, maintenance and inspection of rigging.

Formerly the assistant technical director for the New York City Opera, Cox joined the Clancy staff in 2008. She now oversees the in-house completion of large contract projects, spending the bulk of her time at customer sites.

Denmark - Martin Professional customer care coordinator, Tina Melholt, is celebrating 25 years with the company. Melholt, who ranks as the longest serving employee at the Danish-based lighting manufacturer, started in 1985 when Martin was called dp electronic A/S and produced only amplifiers and a smoke machine.
