The CX-10's highly-efficient optical system uses with a 250W MSD/2 lamp, which combines with a glass reflector and lens system for extreme output. A 22° standard lens and 15° and 32° optional spread angles, as well as soft or hard-edge beam options, allows for highly versatile projection options.
The wide range of effect possibilities originates from 12 interchangeable colours and a double-sided effect wheel with 2 x 13 positions, giving more than 200 possible combinations. The colour wheel can be replaced with an animation disk to create effects such as flickering fire and rippling water. Colour flags can then be transferred to the effect wheel and combined with gobos or textured glass for décor effects. Frost, CTC and UV filters are also included, and all effects are interchangeable for custom applications. Unique to such a fixture, the CX-10 is also equipped with a floodlight mode useful for spraying light into every corner of the room - no matter the space. Smooth, full-range dimming and motorized focus add a further dimension to its many effect possibilities.
Control is via DMX512 or a hand-held, infrared device in stand-alone mode. Lamp adjustments are fast and easy and other user-friendly features include an easy-to-clean cooling fan, advanced low-noise motor control and switch-selectable power supply settings.
