The Netherlands - At ISE 2013, Artistic Licence Engineering (stand 8-R232) will be demonstrating Multi-Play Rack, a lighting show record-playback unit "with outstanding memory capacity and Ethernet protocol versatility".

Multi-Play Rack is a disk-based product that allows a show programmer to record up to 12 universes on any lighting console running Art-Net, then play-back through pretty much anything - thanks to the product's multiple protocol support, which includes Art-Net, ShowNet, KiNet and sACN. Output protocols can be selected on a per universe basis for even greater flexibility.

Multi-Play Rack incorporates an auto-stitch feature that allows a recording to be automatically edited for a seamless continuous loop. It can also playback multiple overlapping files in different, user-programmed zones.

The product offers advanced triggering functionality, with the

UK - Demonstrated at NAMM and ISE, JoeCo's latest software update for the award-winning BlackBox brings several new features and enhancements to the multi-channel live audio recorder/player series. UK - Rackz, the UK based 19" rack specialist designer, manufacturer and supplier, has expanded its range of wood finish Credenza rack units which are being distributed worldwide via the Penn-Elcom network.

This is due to popular demand and the foresight of Rackz' Dave Roberts who spotted a gap appearing in the market led by changes in digital technology and the requirement for elements of home entertainment / smart-home systems to be combined into elegant integrated packages. These are also designed for all commercial applications.

The Credenza range is a simple self-assembly product, designed for quick, efficient and stress-free set up - even for those challenged with DIY skills. Says Roberts: "The idea is that anyone can assemble a Credenza rack even those with little or no practical experience - unlike some 'self-assembly' products which are accompanied by a brick

The Netherlands - Optocore GmbH will be using ISE 2013 as a platform to launch the first of a revolutionary new range of dedicated MADI switches from its booth (3-A120).

UK / The Netherlands - Artistic Licence Engineering is set to launch sunDial, a range of modular lighting controllers for smart illumination, at ISE 2013 (stand 8-R232). The display will highlight the mix-and-match versatility of the sunDial range, using DMX and DALI controllers to drive various sources, including mains-powered lighting and the latest in LED technology.

The landscape of lighting is evolving towards a greener future, but the introduction of more eco-friendly sources such as LED is just part of the story. Only by using and controlling fixtures in a more intelligent manner can we harness the full potential of the smart approach to lighting, says the company.

Artistic Licence Engineering's sunDial range provides the technology to make this happen. To ensure maximum versatility, the MC80-DMX and MC64-DALI controllers respectively accept DMX512 and DALI input data.

UK - The eco-conscious and budget-minded now have a new way to cut back on energy expenditures, according to manufacturer ETC. ETC's Paradigm Responsive Controls - the latest additions to the award-winning Unison Paradigm family of architectural control - are a sleek, convenient way to reduce wasted electricity in any space, the company says.

Paradigm Occupancy/Vacancy Sensors use passive infrared sensors (PIR) to detect vacancy, automatically shutting lights off when a space is unoccupied. They can also be configured to turn on when someone enters a room. ETC's architectural market manager Joe Bokelman says: "The Occupancy/Vacancy Sensors save energy because you're not paying to light an empty room."

The sensors are available with masks to prevent trips or false triggers. Instead of having to dismantle the product to install the masks, the Paradigm Occupancy/Vacancy

The Netherlands - Receiving its official unveiling at ISE 2013, Genelec's Intelligent Signal-Sensing technology has been developed to meet with both European Union ErP Directives and the company's own wider sustainability commitments. This new technology will be applied to the entire catalogue of Genelec loudspeakers to minimise energy waste and significantly reduce power consumption when items are left in standby mode.

Genelec integrated amplifiers will now have electronic activity detection circuitry built in. This Intelligent Signal-Sensing (ISS) monitors the input connectors and detects if the monitor or loudspeaker is in use. If voltage swings are large enough to be considered that of above standard audio outputs, the product will continue to function. However, if the ISS circuit is not finding any audio on the input for a period of time, ISS automatically puts the loudspea
