UK - The new LD Systems DAVE 12 G3 is an active PA system for high-powered live gigs, multimedia presentations, and permanent installations in bars and clubs. A 12" bass reflex subwoofer and the satellites with 6.5" drivers and HF horns ensure a good sound with driving, defined bass, natural mids, and clear treble. The 3-way power amp stage is built into the subwoofer and provides the system components with 1x300W + 2x120W of continuous power.

The Smart mix-match railing system means units can be combined and operated as one unit. The Series is currently on display at Harrods in London till 25 August. UK - Longtime PLASA exhibitor ShowLED returns to Earls Court with several new starcloth product developments.

Recent upgrades to the Animation High Output system include controllers and LED strings that offer a stunning 3000 Hz 'dimming modulation frequency', allowing for flicker free configurations in combination with other studio equipment.

The LED dots in the ShowLED High Output system emit up to 12 times more light than standard Animation LEDs, says the company. Developed for theatre and TV studio applications, the High Output LED curtains achieve "a sublimely even light distribution when applied as backlighting for cyclorama cloths and projection screens".

The brightness of the LEDs allow the user to produce the same results as traditional lighting effects with a mere 30cm distance between the ShowLED High Output curtain and the diffuser screen.

The company will be presenting a seminar at the PLASA Professional Development Programme, taking part in two panels at the concurrent PLASA Rigging Conference, and returning to the show's Hall 1 after several years in Hall 2, to exhibit its products and meet up with customers.

The Elements Plus E 835 mid/high unit provides even greater flexibility and power than its older brother (the E 435) when you want to set up bigger systems, says the company.
