Germany ProLight+Sound sees the official launch of Outline's GTO line array which is already a road-proven rig, having been very successfully deployed on several European and American tours and events. Its 200mm Fresnel lens guarantees maximum light output whilst the long LED life (lumen maintenance of greater than 70% after 50,000 hours*) ensures durability and keeps maintenance time to a minimum, says the company.

Indonesia - British artists, Kula Shaker and Ian Brown, recently performed together at the LAP ABC Senayan venue in Jakarta, Indonesia, where Allen & Heath's iLive digital mixing systems were employed to manage FOH and monitor sound.

"Advance production planning was imperative for Kula Shaker as the performance was part of a 14-date tour of the Far East, and we were only able to fly in on the day. Even though the promoter arranged a police escort from the airport to get us through rush hour, we only had 30 minutes for set up and sound check before doors opened," said Kula Shaker's monitor engineer and production manager, Mike Taylor.

The bands' engineers were given the option of an analogue ML5000 or an iLive digital mixing system, comprising an iDR-48 MixRack and iLive-T112 Control Surface.
