Belgium - APart Audio has appointed Romano M. Cunsolo as their new account manager export for Central Europe.

Cunsolo has worked in the professional Audio industry since 1984 and brings a wide range of experience in acoustics and electronics. During his career he worked as sales, marketing and product manager for Dynacord and Electro Voice. After eight years as a regional manager for central and Eastern Europe at Biamp Systems he now joins APart as from 1 May 2011.

Czech Republic - Robe's Robin 600 LEDWash is officially the 'fastest selling' product for the Czech Republic based moving light manufacturer since 1999.

Production started at the end of 2010 and the 2000th LEDWash 600 has just been delivered to French distributor Axente, with over 1500 on order. Special arrangements have been made at the factory in Valasske Mezirici to ramp up production and keep pace with the demand.

Around the world, so far Robe's Top 8 LEDWash 600 selling territories and distributors are Germany, France, Australia, UK, Russia, Switzerland, Italy and South Africa.

UK - Midas' new analogue console with FireWire interface, the 'digilogue' VeniceF, has completed its first-ever tour with Eliza Doolittle, whose FOH engineer John Delf, purchased one of the first off the UK production line for his own use.

Delf encountered the VeniceF during a PRO6 training day at Midas. "I saw a prototype that wasn't even assembled, and when I heard about what you could do with the built in 32x32 FireWire interface I was blown away and started thinking about all the different applications I could use it for," he says. "I decided to buy one there and then, without having heard or played with it as I was confident it would have that Midas sound. I tour with lots of different bands, plus I wanted a desk for my own studio, and I'd always wanted to own a Midas desk, so this seemed the perfect solution."
