Germany - Both of Bosch's voice alarm systems - the mid-end Plena system and the high-end fully digital Praesideo system - have been granted EN 54 certification by accredited notified bodies. Certification includes not only the central voice alarm equipment but also peripheral equipment such as loudspeakers.

The Praesideo 3.5 and Plena VAS 2.16 central equipment have received certification to EN 54-16. Bosch also supplies charging equipment certified to EN54-4, and the company has been granted EN 54-24 certification for a broad range of loudspeakers covering a host of different application areas associated with voice EVAC.

Germany - Visitors to Prolight+Sound 2011 will be able to both see and hear three dimensional sound and video technology at the show's 3D Live In Concert experience.

With 3D now established in mainstream cinema, interest in the medium is coming from range of other entertainments, including sport and live music. Located on stand L28, Hall 8.0, 3D Live In Concert will demonstrate the application of the technology to the latter market, with a 3D live recording of German hip-hop band Die Fantastischen Vier (The Fantastic Four) its centrepiece.

3D Live In Concert is a collaborative effort between five companies - Alcons Audio (sound), Event Acoustics and All Areas (room and acoustics), DVS (playback, server and 3D content) and Infitec (projection and 3D glasses).

China - LumenRadiohas received Chinese SRRC certification for its CRMX products. The certification is similar to FCC in the USA for sales and operation of wireless systems in China.

The Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate is issued by the State Radio Regulatory Commission of P. R. China after extensive testing at a dedicated government laboratory to verify that the equipment complies with all applicable standards and regulations. The process, overseen by the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is expensive, rigorous, and typically takes more than a year for this type of equipment.
