UK - Adlib Lighting - newly streamlined and fresh from major investments in Martin Professional, James Thomas Pixel range technology, Highend systems and motors from LTM - supplied production, lighting and crew for the recent Royksopp tour.

Sister company Adlib Audio also supplied sound for the two largest gigs of the UK tour - Brixton Academy and Manchester Apollo - plus selected effects and 'specials' for FOH engineer Patrick Walsh for the whole tour which covered three weeks in the UK plus European dates.

Adlib Lighting supplied Royksopp LD Dave Ross with a rig of specials for the entire tour, including 6 Martin MAC 2Ks, 6 PixelPARs and 6 PixelLine 1044s and one of the latest High End Systems Hog IPC consoles with an expander Wing.

For the Brixton and Manchester shows, additional lighting equipment included 12 PixelLine 1044s, 2 MAC 2Ks, 12 HES Studio Beam wash lights, 12 MAC 550s, and 4 of the new JTE PixelEight LED blinders.

On the sound side, Adlib Audio supplied the tour with a rack of Summit TLA 100 compressors, DBX160s, Lexicon Effects and a TC 2290, for a degree of sonic consistency throughout the dates.For Brixton and Manchester, Adlib Audio installed a 10 element a side JBL VerTec VT4889 line array system, complete with Adlib DF4 subs. They also supplied a Midas Heritage 3000 FOH console and a Midas XL3 onstage for monitor engineer Bernard Maique, plus three pairs of Adlib MP3 wedges, additional compressors and outboard racks.

Adlib Audio's Dave Kay fine tuned the system for these shows and says: "The recent investment and development of our lighting department has helped us to supply lighting to the professional standards already set by the PA side of the company."
