Andres Mayo as takes over the leadership role from Dr. Sean Olive
USA - Following the highly-successful 137th Audio Engineering Society Convention, which took place 9-12 October at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, the AES is pleased has welcomed new president Andres Mayo as he takes over the leadership role from Dr. Sean Olive.

Mayo currently serves as owner and senior mastering engineer at Andres Mayo Mastering and Audio Post in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and, as an award-winning producer and engineer, he is set to guide the AES into the coming year and through AES138 in Warsaw, Poland and the Convention's return to New York City for AES139 in the fall of 2015.

Mayo's skills in the studio have earned him professional success and renown throughout the industry as an audio engineer and producer.

Commenting on the recent AES137 Convention in Los Angeles, California, as well as his new role as president, Mayo states, "I strongly feel that the recent L.A. Convention has been a resonant success in all aspects. With over 300 exhibitors and 350+ presentations, workshops, tutorials and papers, not only have we proved that the AES is alive and kicking, but also that there is absolutely no convention in the world that can provide the audience with such a high level of education in all aspects of Professional Audio.
